We begin (anew)

 The inauguration of President Joe Biden is complete. I have just watched his inaugural speech, and have yet to read, or hear, any pundit reviews (thank god). I liked it. I mean, I really liked it. His delivery was good, but Obama is a better orator. His folksiness is good, but George W Bush was better at that. His charisma was good, but Clinton was better. And yet, Biden's speech was stronger than theirs. I think it was his heart, for lack of a better word. I really felt like he meant every single word. The sincerity factor was super high....and perhaps it's the lingering effects of Trump constantly screaming insincere crap at the television, but it was so refreshingly honest. I hear John Meachem helped him with his speech. I'd like to read some of his books, I read one and thought it was very well done. 

Anyway, I'm inspired. Here's to blogging again. This time, just for me. If anyone is out there in the ether reading this, I have two things to say to you: 1) how on earth did you find this blog? seriously, you need to get a life; and 2) if I know you, we've probably fallen out of touch. so drop me a line. would be great to catch up.
